BIG Subscription Savings!

One of my resolutions this year is to cook more at home. I blame lack of recipes for my failure to cook often (bad excuse...I have oodles of cook books). Things are about to change folks!  I managed to score a whole year subscription to Taste of Home magazine for $3.99! Here's how you can get your own subscription:

Enter the code TASTE at checkout to get a savings of $14. Another awesome tip...you can get that savings either doubled, tripled, or more if you choose to get a longer subscription! Way cool! Click HERE to order your subscription. Happy cooking!

What I Resolve...

A new year...a new start...a new chance. Oh, how I love starting each year with some over the top resolution that usually slams the door in my face by mid February. *smirks* I want it to be different this time. Hey, it's a new chance..didn't you hear me? This post is my contract, if you will, to my resolutions for 2011. None of these are unattainable. Just challenging. Here goes...

1) I resolve to be more organized at home. This includes keeping laundry caught up, keeping the kitchen table free of clutter, actually dusting items above 3 feet from the ground, and mopping the floors more!

2) I resolve to cook at home more. It frustrates me when my children ask what's for dinner and I tell them something (that I am making) and they whine and suggest something from a paper bag (or box)! My goal is to cook at least 5 dinners a week at home.

3) I resolve to print my photos at least once a month. You laugh? Stop. No joke, I haven't printed any pictures since October of 2007! *gasps* Yes, I've taken them. Lots in fact. There are more than 4,000 pictures just waiting. I will start fresh and once I stay on top of this plan, I'll start printing all the "back" photos.

There you have it...my resolutions for 2011 :)

A Much Needed Break!

I'm here! I was wondering myself if I'd get back to blogging! Christmas break was filled with so much to do that I never really felt like I had the time (or wanted to stop all the fun!) to devote even 5 minutes. Well, break is over, and I'm ready to pick back up. I'll update soon on just how amazing our Christmas was and what I'm planning for the new year...boy, there are some pretty challenging milestones ahead!
